Once upon a time, I decided to start a blog. Why did I add my voice to an already overcrowded sea of cyber noise? Mostly as a medium for organizing and synthesizing the thoughts that pass through between my ears, either inspired by a book, a film, a landscape, a conversation, or an experience.

I come from a small, beautiful community in Ontario called the Bruce Peninsula. After graduating from high school, I found my way to Quest University Canada in Squamish, British Columbia. Here, I acquired not just a degree, but a liberal arts and sciences education and a toolbox of skills for lifelong learning. I focused on collaboration in different institutional contexts. Specifically, for my “Keystone” (comparable to an undergraduate thesis), I conducted a qualitative research project on collaborations among small-scale farmers in rural Ontario.

Now, post-graduation, I’m pursuing a new program of learning and developing both roots and wings through travel, diverse employment and volunteering, community involvement, and meeting plenty of interesting folks along the way.
